5 Gold, 6 Silver, 1 Bronze at the Lifesaving Championships

This weekend past saw the 2017 Victorian Junior Lifesaving Championships in Warrnambool and, we are so proud to announce, an amazing effort from Cleo Richardson (Year 5).

Winning four gold medals and one silver medal in her solo events, Cleo excelled in this diverse sport. Participating in open water swimming, beach sprinting, long distance running and surfboarding, she was also a dedicated and humble team member.

Cleo also participated in the teams events on Sunday, with fellow Loreto Toorak student Neve O'Callaghan (Year 5) and other members from the Portsea Surf Life Saving Club, winning four silver medals and one bronze medal. With more than 140 athletes in this age group, the girls are applauded for their strong efforts.
