51 perform in whirlwind European Music Tour

10-Jul-2017

On Saturday 1 July, 51 students, along with the Director of Music, Mary O’Driscoll, and Deputy Principal, Angela O’Dwyer, departed from Melbourne on a European Music Tour across Prague, Český Krumlov, Linz, Vienna and Salzburg.

The students, who make up the Loreto Toorak Choir, Clarinet Ensemble and Orchestra, are touring an accomplished and challenging repertoire, performing at many of the premier venues and music events in Europe and participating in masterclasses at the some of the most venerable music institutions, including the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. We are honoured to be able to share the talent and hard work of our students and teachers with a global community and thank all those involved for their proud representation of Loreto Toorak.
