Loreto Toorak is 'Up and Active'
As part of Loreto Toorak's wellbeing and fitness regime House Sport Coordinators Kathleen O’Connell and Kate Richardson have created the program ‘Up and Active’ which promotes physical wellbeing throughout the school.
Participants receive daily posts outlining challenges to motivate staff and students to get up and move throughout the day. Challenges include fitness goals such as 10,000 steps a day, short circuit videos and fun activities to complete during breaks. Just last week the Loreto Toorak Community moved 455km!
Students and staff have joined in sharing their achievements which allows them to record their daily activity both acting as a motivation tool and also creates a sense of community and belonging.
