Mandeville Mentors

The Mandeville Mentors Program plays a key role in supporting student learning across Years 5-12. Mandeville Mentors are high-achieving, recently graduated Loreto Toorak students employed to provide specialist tutoring for students on a group or one-on-one basis. This after-school program is held Monday to Friday and provides a variety of academic enrichment opportunities to current students.

“Coming back to help students who are in the position that I used to be in is a pleasure. They are always polite, curious and eager to learn, which makes mentoring so rewarding by participating in the wonderful student culture. It has also been intriguing to gain a different perspective from outside the student body through working with the library staff and teachers who are all passionate about their students. Mandeville Mentors has been such a great avenue for enhancing the bridge between student and teacher perspectives to better students’ academic endeavours.”
