Alice graduated in 2013 as a Councillor and School Drama Captain, with big dreams instilled by her education at Loreto Toorak.
After countless School productions and invaluable mentorship, Alice’s desire to act was stronger than ever. After completing her undergraduate studies at The University of Melbourne, she packed a suitcase and landed in New York City, before being selected as one of thirteen students worldwide for the MFA Class of 2018 at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, then part of the UK Conservatoire for Dance and Drama. Alice graduated in 2018 as the sole recipient of the Bonnie Hurren Prize, awarded for excellence in performance and acting technique and immediately returned to New York, signed with representation and performed in several critically acclaimed off-Broadway productions.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Alice established a career in publishing in Melbourne. She earned a second Masters degree in Publishing and Communications from The University of Melbourne and made the Dean’s Honour List. Since then, she’s overseen the production and publication of numerous titles for Thames and Hudson Australia, served as a contributing editor for Good Sport Magazine and worked in the editorial and marketing departments for Aeon Media Group.
Alice returned to New York in 2023 and re-entered the entertainment industry. In addition to her ongoing acting work, she wrote and directed the short film Great Minds (2025) and was listed among Top Shorts’ ‘30 Exceptional Filmmakers to Watch in 2025‘. She is currently in pre-production for her next short film.
Alice is forever grateful to the Loreto Toorak educators and community who supported her, encouraged her to take risks and proudly make bold choices.
