Public Transport
Our campus is situated within walking distance of major metropolitan train and tram lines, making it an accessible destination from across Melbourne.
- Train: Toorak Train Station (situated on the Frankston, Cranbourne, and Pakenham lines) is located within a short walking distance of our School, providing an efficient connection for students travelling from the CBD and outer suburbs.
- Tram: The #72 Tram runs along Malvern Road, with a convenient stop at the corner of Clendon Road, placing students just steps away from our School gates.
Dedicated School Bus Services
To support families travelling from the Bayside area, Kinetic provides access to a dedicated School bus services. These routes are designed to provide a accessible, reliable and comfortable travel experience exclusively for our students.
- Bayside Service: The dedicated School bus route services key stops from Sandringham, Brighton, and Elsternwick, arriving directly at our campus.
- Schedule & Routes: We recommend families review the latest timetable via our transport partner, Kinetic, to see stops and estimated arrival times for both morning and afternoon journeys.
A Note on Student Travel
Myki Cards: All students travelling on public transport (trains, trams, and buses) are required to carry a valid Myki card. For students aged 17 and under, public transport travel is now free, though a valid Myki card is still required for travel.
Safety and Conduct: We encourage all students to practise safe travel habits and maintain the high standards of conduct expected of Loreto Toorak students while using public and School-contracted transport.

We encourage all prospective families to test your daughter’s commute in advance of or following one of our Open Mornings. Walking the route from the station or tram stop provides a great opportunity to see how accessible our School is and helps your daughter feel confident in her daily transition.
