Creative Arts

Where Her Expression Finds Direction

Our comprehensive Creative Arts programs provide a vibrant space for self-expression, confidence-building, and personal growth. We offer a holistic education where your daughter is encouraged to explore her artistic passions.

Whether she is picking up a violin for the first time, designing a visual masterpiece, or finding her voice at the podium, she is constantly evolving.

Where curiosity can lead

Music Program

Music is the heartbeat of Loreto Toorak. Our extensive music program caters to all levels of experience, offering students the chance to perform in award-winning choirs, symphony orchestras, and contemporary ensembles. With over 600 individual music lessons taught each week, she discovers the joy of shared performance and the discipline of mastery.

A celebrated hallmark of our junior years is the renowned Suzuki Strings program. Guided by expert mentorship and the proven Suzuki philosophy of immersion and encouragement, our youngest learners develop not only remarkable musical ability but also focus, memory, and resilience.

Visual Arts: Shaping Her Unique Perspective

Art is how she interprets and shapes the world around her. Our Visual Arts program provides a dynamic environment where academic excellence meets boundless imagination. She is challenged to push boundaries and experiment with diverse mediums, including painting, ceramics, photography, and visual communication design. Supported by expert educators, she finds that creative problem-solving is a vital component of her overall direction.

Public Speaking and Debating: Finding Her Authentic Voice

When a girl knows how to confidently articulate her thoughts, she is ready to shape the future. Our rigorous Public Speaking and Debating programs are cornerstones of female leadership. She learns to construct compelling arguments, listen critically, and present her ideas with unwavering conviction, orienting her compass toward compassionate and informed leadership.

Productions Program

Theatre Studies at Loreto Toorak offers students an enriching, transformational experience that combines practical communication skills with interpersonal and intrapersonal growth. Encouraged to approach their work with ambition and professionalism, students participate in a diverse range of productions, including the Performing Arts Festival, middle and senior school musicals in partnership with St Kevin’s College, and specific year-level plays. Beyond acting, the program provides opportunities to develop production skills through design and stage crew roles, with ongoing involvement from past pupils in design, direction, and stage management.
