Loreto Toorak's Rowing Program sees more than 200 students participating each year. Rowing is offered to students in Years 8-12.
In Year 8, a four-week complimentary program is run during Term 3 for students to trial the sport. Students are then able to continue their journey in our Development Program and further included into our junior squad should they choose.
Pre-season begins in Term 3 for Years 8-11. Rowers follow onto the main season in Term 4 and Term 1 the following year. There are opportunities for rowers to be involved in local and interstate camps.
Our students regularly go on to compete at a number of regattas including: Head of the Schoolgirls Regatta, the Australian National Rowing Championships, and the Henley Royal Regatta.
