Celebrate Literacy Learning with Milo Monkey

Preparatory students at Loreto Toorak recently marked a key moment in their early literacy journey through a celebration inspired by Milo’s Birthday Surprise. This popular program introduces foundational letter-sound relationships through engaging characters and storytelling, supporting students as they begin to develop essential reading and phonics skills.

To acknowledge their progress, students took part in a themed “Milo Monkey Birthday Party,” where classroom learning was extended through a range of interactive and creative activities. The event featured alphabet-based games, music, and shared celebrations, reinforcing students’ learning in a joyful and memorable way.

We thank our staff and support teams who helped bring this learning experience to life and congratulate our Preparatory students on this important milestone in their early education.
