Strategic Minds at Play: Loreto Toorak Students Shine at Chess Tournament

Six of our talented students from Years 3 – 6 proudly represented Loreto Toorak at the recent Primary School Girls’ Chess Tournament, hosted by Korowa Anglican Girls’ School.

Throughout the day, our students displayed impressive skill, keeping their opponents on their toes with clever strategies and thoughtful moves. Their focus, determination, and teamwork paid off, earning them a well-deserved place in the next round of the tournament, set to take place later this year. We congratulate our young chess champions on their fantastic achievements and look forward to cheering them on as they take on the next stage of the competition.

Their dedication and sportsmanship truly embody the spirit of Loreto Toorak.
