Our 2026 School Captains Featured in the Herald Sun

We are delighted to celebrate a wonderful moment for our community, with our 2026 School Captains, Amelia Noonan and Zara Bare, featured in the Herald Sun. Their reflections offer a meaningful insight into their motivations, aspirations, and hopes for the year ahead.

Amelia N – School Captain

Amelia shared that her decision to apply for a leadership role came from her deep involvement in many areas of school life.“After being involved in so many aspects of school life, applying for a leadership role felt like the next step — a chance to develop new skills and build on the collaborative values we’ve fostered here.”

She looks forward to continuing the strong relationships and opportunities that have shaped her Loreto journey. After Year 12, Amelia hopes to pursue further study in the fields of law or arts.

Zara B – School Captain

Zara reflected on the influence of past student leaders and her desire to contribute to the Loreto community in a meaningful way.

“I was inspired by the leaders before me. Applying for captain was an opportunity to strengthen connections and make a lasting impact on our school community.”

She is excited about the responsibilities ahead and hopes to study in the areas of science or health after graduating.

We warmly congratulate Amelia and Zara on this special recognition and look forward to the leadership, service, and spirit they will bring to our school in the year ahead.
