10 Sep 2025 back to previous Year 5 Camp at Sovereign Hill Our Year 5 students recently enjoyed an exciting three-day camp at Sovereign Hill, where history truly came to life. Immersed in the Gold Rush era, students explored the Red Hill and Secret Chamber mines, tried their luck panning for gold, and dressed in authentic 19th-century costume. A highlight of the camp was the spectacular AURA sound-and-light show, which captured the drama and spirit of the Gold Rush in breathtaking detail. The camp was more than just an adventure, it was a chance for students to connect with Australia’s past in meaningful ways, deepen their learning beyond the classroom, and create lasting memories with friends.
